ShARE IIT Bombay provides the golden opportunity to widen and establish a network across institutions and countries. We organize insightful alumni-student interactive sessions, where you can connect with working professionals who have graduated from the program or the institution. Interacting and collaborating with other chapters of ShARE is also possible.
ShARE is present in the top universities of the world like Oxford, Cambridge, HEC Paris, Berkeley, University of Amsterdam. In India, ShARE is present in some of the top IITs and IIMs such as IITB, IITD, IITM, IITK, IIM A, IIM B, IIM C, and many more.
National Collaborations
Inter-Chapter Group Discussion
On March 9, 2023. we collaborated with ShARE IIT BHU and ShARE IIT Kharagpur, to organise the second edition of the Inter-Chapter Group Discussion. It aimed at promoting intellectual engagement and cultural exchange among students of different chapters!
The event saw a participation of more than 50 junior and senior members from the 3 chapters and successfully provided a platform for participants to share their ideas and perspectives. Harshil Khatri, Anushka Nalawade and Mukul Hatekar from IIT Bombay were adjudged among the top performers.
ShARE IIT Bombay x ShARE BITS Goa
On January 19, 2023, ShARE IIT Bombay collaborated with ShARE BITS Goa on a riveting team-based game ‘Paisa Parliament Policy’!As part of the strategic game, ShARE members came together in teams to discuss the fate and budget of a country which is facing crises in some or other aspects of national growth. As upcoming leaders, members needed to ensure an equitable and well-thought allocation of budgets based on the current situation of the country.
With countries the world over, including Brazil, Japan, UK and Mexico, and verticals like healthcare, education, defence, the session was well-received while being filled with learning and networking!
Pan-India Partnership of ShARE chapters
In the year 2021-22, we have formed a pan India partnership with ShARE chapters at BITS Goa, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IIT-BHU, BITS Pilani, and SRCC. Through this tie-up, we aspire to improve the exposure of ShARE students via live guest lectures, case competitions, buddy case interviews...and more!
#1: Not Another Intro to Consulting
On Aug 7, BITS Goa organized the maiden guest lecture with Harika Kothapalli, ShARE IIM Indore Alumni, and Unnati Mahajan, ShARE IIM Calcutta Alumni. They hosted an interactive session on making issue trees, taking the example of vaccine availability in India. They also talked about their experience at ShARE and guided on professional development.

ShARE IIT Bombay organized the second networking event on 2nd September 2021 as part of the pan India partnership. The guest lecture series, ShAREing had Akshay Agarwal from Sequoia Captial providing deep insight into Venture Capital as an industry and a career.

An IIT Bombay alumnus of the 2017 batch, Akshay is presently associated with Sequoia Capital as an Investment Analyst. He focussed on the basics of Venture Capital while also making it interactive. With BYJU’s as an example, the student got a chance to ponder on the various metrics a VC would take into consideration while investing.
#3: Inter-chapter Group Discussion
On 3rd October 2021, ShARE IIT Bombay and ShARE IIT BHU conducted an inter-chapter group discussion as an opportunity to facilitate a healthy exchange of thoughts and ideas among the members as well as to network among themselves. When we learn together, we learn better."
Every GD room was moderated by various esteemed senior members/alumni of the participating chapters and had an engaging set of discussions. The senior members were Anesh Srivastav, Chirag Goyle, Dhir Priyam Singh, Khushi G., Mohammed KM, Sivasubramaniyan Sivanandan, Vikram Mehta, and Yash Bohra.
#4: Investment Banking: Breaking into the sector
On 30th October 2021, ShARE SRCC hosted Harish Menon, CEO of H-Zone Capital for the Industrial Talk and Networking session on investment banking under the ShARE collaboration with chapters across India.
Mr. Menon explained in detail about the wide-ranging pool of financial services and it's intricacies. He presented the opportunities and mentored students on how to break into the sector. It was a privilege to gain knowledge and expertise from such an experienced individual.
